Member Communications23 June 2009 Message from the President Auckland Car Club has invited us to attend this years Speed Show in September to promote our new series. I will be there with my car (hopefully I wont have to push it!!!) and I will be contacting you at a later date to get some more cars for display. Special thanks to Gary Raiti at A.C.C. for this invitation. We have had some new members join recently and we would like to take the opportunity to welcome them. We have also had several inquiries from people who are currently building cars and will be joining up at a later date. Also hi to Peter in Korea who is watching our series.
I am arranging to have door signage made for all of your cars that will display the club name, the class that you are in and any potential future sponsors. These will be available for the September meeting.
We need some images for the website – cars racing etc. There are also some members on the website that need to supply images of their cars.
More importantly, we do not have a series coordinator for the series. I hate to sound like a stuck record but for the race meetings and the series to run smoothly we need someone to do this. It is easy to do, we will be there to help and it does not require a lot of work. More so, we need someone for September as I won’t be there. I am at the Muscle Car Masters so I cannot attend. Can someone volunteer to run that meeting please? Send me an e-mail or give me a ring on 021 635 439.
